BOYS TOWN - 136th and West Dodge Rd. It is known world wide as an institution for abandoned, abused, neglected and handicapped boys and girls. Founded by Father Flanagan in 1917, Boys Town and its mini-campuses around the nation provide services to more than 12,500 youths, annually. FONTENELLE FOREST - 1111 Bellevue Boulevard, Bellevue. Has 1,300 acres of preserved natural habitat along the Missouri River. Main attractions include an equal-access trail for those with special needs, 17 miles of trails, an interpretive center and gift store. Phone: (402) 731-3140.
JOSLYN ART MUSEUM - They house a collection of art from ancient to modern times. Included are European and American paintings, sculptures, graphics, and decorative art works. Indian artifacts and archaeological displays can also be found. Located at 2200 Dodge Street. Phone: (402) 342-3300).
